Martini Thursday!!!

Strawberry Peach Martini

Remember a few months back when I purchased that smoothie recipe app and dove head first into making smoothies? Well…..I have recently jumped back into smoothie making this week. I actually don’t know why I stopped in the first place. Smoothies are great in the morning! And filling…which is a great feeling when you have a long day of work ahead of you. So I got back into it this week, and the first smoothie I made combined strawberries and peaches. I always tell you that I get my martini recipes from everywhere…do you see where I’m going with this? I thought you would! This week’s recipe is the Strawberry Peach Martini, completely inspired by my morning smoothie. This one calls for a blender, so break it out the cabinet and get to it!

Ingredients

3 oz of Your Favorite Vodka

1 oz Peach Schnapps

1 Cup of Fresh Strawberries

1 Teaspoon of Sugar

Fresh Strawberries for Garnish

Ice

Recipe

1. In a blender, puree strawberries and sugar. Mixture should be smooth and liquidy (Is that a word?).

2. In a shaker, combine Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Strawberry Mixture, and Ice. Shake!

3. Strain mixture into a chilled martini glass.

4. Garnish with fresh strawberries.

I really think you all will love this one. If not, will you let me know? Perfect! Enjoy! And Drink Responsibly!

Martini Break!!!

Strawberry Lemonade Martini

Its Thursday Divas…so you know what that means. It’s time for another great martini recipe! This week’s recipe was inspired by McDonald’s new beverage, the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade. Don’t judge! I told you I get my inspiration from everywhere! And this recipe is no exception. My biggest obstacle with this recipe was figuring out how to turn a frozen drink into a martini. Then I remembered that I am Diva, and I can do whatever I want! And so I did. This recipe calls for a blender, so dust it off and let get to making the Strawberry Lemonade Martini!

Ingredients
3 oz of Your Favorite Vodka
1 Cup of Fresh Strawberries
1 oz of Lemon Juice
1 Teaspoon of Sugar
Lemon Wedges for Garnish
Lemon Juice for Garnish
Cocktail Sugar for Garnish
Ice

Recipe
1. Wet the rim of a chilled martini glass with lemon juice, and lace with cocktail sugar. Set aside.
2. In a blender, puree strawberries in a blender with lemon juice and sugar. Mixture should be smooth and should pour easily.
3. In a shaker, combine vodka, ice, and strawberry-lemon mixture. Shake!
4. Strain mixture into the waiting martini glass.
5. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Not quite the same as McDonald’s frozen Strawberry Lemonade, but I don’t think you Divas mind that much! Enjoy your Strawberry Lemonade Martini, and enjoy your weekend. Drink Responsibly!

1 Teaspoon of Sugar
1 Cup of Fresh Strawberries (Sliced)
